A three-dimensional paper cube offering a silent, dazzling, and never-ending blooming of fireworks in the palm of your hands. It is based on one of my previous monotypes inspired by the 1995 Japanese film: Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom? (打ち上げ花火、下から見るか? 横から見るか?) directed by Iwai Shunji (岩井俊二). This cube is an attempt at accessibility of the art projects based on my consistent exploration of vision and cognition.
